Streetsville has retained an important part of its history with the re-launching of the old Franklin House.

The two-storey brick structure, which was once a farmer's home and then a hotel, was gutted and completely renovated in 2008.. The process to get The Franklin House, which replaced the previous establishment, the Sundance Saloon, ready to go took about six months, said landlord Stella Anderson.
